As part of our new GEoUS Horizon 2020 project, there will be regular online courses for students and young researchers. We start next week with the first Webinar on the topic: "Scientific presentation writing and speaking".
Given the current situation in relation to the COVID-19 pandemic, it was decided to organize the GeoUS Kick-off meeting by teleconference and also to proceed with the GeoUS Opening Conference as ''web conference''. Web Conference and the kick-off meeting took place online on 23rd April 2020. The partners provided the presentations introducing the project partners, H2020 project, and the research in geothermal energy.

We are pleased to announce that VSB – Technical University of Ostrava has launched a three-year project GeoUS (Geothermal Energy in Special Underground Structures) supported by the Horizon 2020 program. The aim of the project is to increase scientific excellence of VSB-TUO in geothermal energy by working alongside outstanding foreign workplaces such as German Fraunhofer Institute and the Finnish University of Vaasa.
