Hobby club: Energy around us II – GeoUS Horizont 2020

The hobby club with regular every fourteen days lessons thematically focused on discovering of energy principles, tranformation and advanced usage. It is intended for primary school students aged 7 to 14 years. How are energy (especially electrical energy) and electronics related? In the club, young people learn in a fun way the basics of electrical engineering, measuring technology, physical applications, and the development of electronics. Together they discover technical principles and build devices that can be used to generate electricity. Students work with electronics kits, assembling the electronics of their own measuring device with a display and buttons that can be used to make experimental measurements of physical quantities. At the same time, students work on professional instruments in the lab. Interesting technical topics related to energy are presented. There are implemented education methods for interesting way of energy explanation using Fraunhofer Institute or University of Vaasa experiences. Hobby club is placed in laboratory of Technical University in Ostrava City.
